2.3 You can save or print this page at any time. It is a normal web page with no restriction on doing so.

2.4 You may use this site for your own information and to get in touch with us about work. You may not use it in a way that breaks the law, interferes with anyone else's use of it, or attempts to gain access to systems, accounts or data you have no right to.

2.5 You may not scrape, copy or republish substantial parts of this site for commercial purposes without asking first. Quoting a passage with a link back is fine and always welcome.

3.1 The guides on this site are general information written to be genuinely useful. They are not professional, legal, financial or security advice for your particular situation, and you should not treat them as a substitute for it.

3.2 Where a guide quotes market-wide figures, it says on the page how those figures were arrived at and which are estimates rather than measured data. We would rather show our working than sound more certain than we are.

3.3 Prices shown on this site are our published starting points, not quotations. The number that binds either of us is the fixed price in a written quote for your specific project.

3.4 The estimator on our cost guides returns an indicative range from the answers you give it. It has not seen your data, your systems or your constraints, so it is a planning aid and expressly not a quote or an offer.

3.5 We keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that every page is free of error or omission at every moment.

4.1 The content, design, code and branding of this website belong to Northstarsolutionz Ltd or are used with permission.

4.2 Product names, logos and screenshots belonging to our clients or to third parties remain the property of their owners and appear here to describe work we have done.

4.3 Nothing on this site transfers any right in our intellectual property to you. Ownership of work we build for a client is dealt with in that client's own agreement, and our standard position there is that the client owns the source code.

5.1 We link to external sources, including primary sources cited in our guides, because a figure you cannot check is worth less than one you can.

5.2 We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability.

5.3 The demo sites published under this domain are fictional brands built to show our work. The businesses shown do not exist, nothing on them is a real offer, and they are marked so that search engines do not index them.

6.1 These terms cover this website only. They are not the contract for a project.

6.2 Any work we carry out for you is governed by the written scope and fixed quote we agree before the work starts, together with any separate agreement signed alongside it.

6.3 If anything on this website appears to conflict with that agreement, the agreement takes precedence. A marketing page should never quietly change what you signed.

7.1 We aim to keep this website available and maintained, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it without notice.

7.2 Any uptime figure published on this site refers to the hosting and maintenance service we sell to clients, on the terms of that service. It is a target we measure monthly, and it is not a contractual guarantee attaching to this website.

8.1 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

8.2 Subject to 8.1, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website, or from reliance on general information published on it.

8.3 Subject to 8.1, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of anticipated savings arising from use of this website.

8.4 If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

8.5 Our liability for work we carry out for a client is dealt with in that client's own agreement, not here.

9.1 How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which covers this website, our client portal, the mail we send and the sites we host.

9.2 We set no analytics or non-essential cookies unless you accept them, and you can change that choice at any time through Cookie Settings in the footer.

10.1 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

10.2 The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
