App development in Kent

We build mobile apps for iOS and Android and ship them to both stores. Fixed quote before work starts, from £3,000, and the source code is yours at twelve months.

We are based in Medway, so if you would rather talk this through in a room than on a call, that is easy to arrange.

An app we actually shipped

Prospectour is a location-based game for iPhone and Android, built end to end for a client who arrived with a concept, some look-and-feel images and a folder of raw 3D character models.

It splits the real world into claimable map squares on real street data, reveals a rarity tier when you stake one, and keeps mining while the app is closed. Unity 6 on the client, TypeScript on the backend, both app stores. That is the full distance from concept brief to published app.

Before you commission an app

Most businesses that ask us for an app need a website that works well on a phone. That is cheaper, faster, and does not need anyone to install anything.

An app earns its cost when you need the things only an app gets: push notifications, offline use, the camera or GPS in a serious way, or a reason for someone to come back daily. If you do not need those, we will tell you, and we would rather say it before you spend £3,000 than after.

Mobile app, from £3,000

iOS and Android. A content-led app with sign-in sits near this figure.

Web app or SaaS, from £1,500

Runs in the browser, nothing to install, and often the right answer for internal tools and customer portals.

MVP first, where it fits

A focused first version that gets in front of real users before the expensive half is built.

Working with a Kent studio on this

App projects run longer than websites and involve more decisions, which is where being an hour away rather than a timezone away actually helps.

We cover Medway, Maidstone, Canterbury, Ashford, Gravesend, Dartford and the rest of the county, and we work with clients across the UK from here.

Common questions

How much does it cost to build an app in Kent?

From £3,000 for a mobile app on iOS and Android, as a fixed quote agreed before work starts. A web app that runs in the browser starts from £1,500. Prices do not change by postcode, only by scope.

Do I need an app, or will a website do?

Usually a website. An app is worth the cost when you need push notifications, offline use, real camera or GPS access, or daily repeat use. We will tell you honestly which one your idea needs before you commit.

Do you publish to the App Store and Google Play?

Yes, both. We have taken an app the full distance from concept brief to published on both stores, and store submission is part of the work rather than something handed back to you at the end.
